Singapore's water polo team takes the national flag to places it's never been before

Singapore is a proud nation, and a nation that is proud of its national flag. A flag which symbolizes a young nation of the ascendant, universal brotherhood and equality, and national ideals.

But taking these ideals and plastering them across the trunks of Singapore's water polo team at the Asian Games like so....

Hmm probably not the brightest idea. As it turns out some people are more than a little bit embarrassed by the design and don't know where to look.

"Disgusting", "nauseating", and "disgraceful" are just some of the responses to the design which apparently had not been approved by the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts which requires the "elements of the flag to be treated with dignity".
